국사학과

한국 현대사를 전공하였고 주 연구 주제는 한국 현대사(도시사) 그리고 공공역사(역사 콘텐츠 생산과 유통)이다. 2015년 고려대학교 한국사학과에서 '1960년대 후반 서울시 주택정책과 ‘중산층'문제 인식'으로 석사 학위를 받았다. 이후 공공역사, 그 중에서도 역사 콘텐츠의 생산과 유통, 대중과 학계의 소통에 대한  연구에 집중했다. 최근에는 공공역사의 한 분야인 문화비평에 집중해 다양한 콘텐츠(사극, 역사 영화, 역사 게임 등)를 비평하는 글을 쓰고 있다. 공공의 영역에서 역사 연구자가 대중과 직접 소통하는 역할을 찾아야 한다는 생각에 다수의 대중강연을 진행했고, 뿐만 아니라 다양한 미디어 콘텐츠에 출연하고 있다. 현재는 지식 콘텐츠 생산 스타트업 비욘드날리지(주) 대표로 활동하고 있으며, 역사문제연구소 운영위원과 '역사비평' 편집위원을 겸하고 있다.
TV조선 '세상을 바꾸는 인문학, 킹스맨', 채널A '천일야史', MBC '선을 넘는 녀석들' 등에 출연했고, 유튜브 채널 '공부왕찐천재홍진경', '14F', '달리[SBS DALI]' 등에서 역사 콘텐츠를 제작해왔다.

Majored in contemporary Korean history and the main research topics are Korean contemporary history (urban history) and public history (production and distribution of historical content). In 2015, received a master's degree from the Department of Korean History at Korea University with 'Awareness of the 'middle class' problem in the housing policy department of Seoul in the late 1960s'. Since then, he has focused on research on public history, especially the production and distribution of historical contents, and communication between the public and academia. Recently, he has more focused on cultural criticism, a field of public history, and is writing to criticize various contents (historical dramas, historical films, historical games, etc.). He has conducted a number of public lectures with the idea that history researchers should find a role in directly communicating with the public in the public domain, and is also appearing in various media contents. Currently, he is acting as the representative of a knowledge content production startup Beyond knowalage, and is a member of the steering committee of the Institute for History Studies and the editorial board of "History Criticism".
